We know we are very fortunate to have a fantastic bunch of hard-working, like-minded farmers within the Conservation Grade membership. They all go the extra mile for the benefit of wildlife and the environment on their farms and we want to celebrate that!

Fair to Nature farming wildflowers and cropWe want to demonstrate their depth of knowledge and the effort they go to for nature, and highlight the fact that when we, as consumers, buy Fair to Nature products we are not only buying great food but also areas of nectar rich and seed rich habitats, making a real difference for the wildlife in our countryside.

That is why we are introducing a new award of Fair to Nature Farmer of the Year. This will be an annual award and entry is only open to Conservation Grade Fair to Nature farmers. It will be awarded to the farmer who has really embraced the ethos of the Conservation Grade farming scheme, has created outstanding areas for wildlife, and enjoys seeing nature flourish on their farm.

Borage & beeA team of experts from Conservation Grade will draw up the shortlist based on the entry forms received, and visitors to the Conservation Grade Fair to Nature website will be able to vote online for the overall winner. The inaugural Fair to Nature Farmer of the Year trophy will be awarded at a ceremony later in the year.
