Conservation Grade™ licensees use the Conservation Grade logo on their products as approved by Conservation Grade Producers Ltd. The delivery of biodiversity performance through adherence to the Conservation Grade standard is explained on-pack and in all advertising and communications. Thus consumers have a clear choice between brands with no measurable biodiversity position, and Conservation Grade accredited brands with a clear, proven commitment to biodiversity conservation.

Allied Mills is part of Associated British Foods Plc (ABF) and forms part of the milling and baking division with Allied Bakeries, Speedibake, Patak’s and Allied Technical Centre. Flour mills situated in Tilbury, Manchester and Belfast supply the group bakeries throughout the country, supporting household bread brands such as Kingsmill, Sunblest, Burgen and the Conservation Grade accredited Allinson Bread and Burgen brands.                           

 Wheat grown by Conservation Grade farmers is used in the well known Allinson Wholemeal loaf, the Allinson Sunflower & Pumpkin loaf, the Allinson Malted Harvestgrain loaf, the Burgen Soya & Linseed loaf and the Burgen Buckwheat & Poppyseed loaf.                                                                                                                                       

Allinson Flour is well known for its high quality baking ingredients. The company was founded by Dr Thomas Allinson, who was keen to promulgate the health benefits of wholemeal flour. Today the top quality range includes bread flours and speciality flours, as well as Conservation Grade accredited Nature Friendly plain and self-raising  flours.       

The Bedfordshire based Jordans brand (part of the Jordans and Ryvita Company) uses Conservation Grade cereals in 80% of its products. The brand was established in 1972 by Bill and David Jordan at the family’s mill near Biggleswade. In 1985, Bill Jordan co-founded the Conservation Grade farming scheme, to ensure a reliable supply of nature-friendly cereals to meet the company’s needs.          

The Vitacress group of companies comprising Vitacress, Wight Salads Group and VHB Herbs are Europe’s leading growers and packers of watercress, rocket, baby leaf salads, and speciality vegetables.              

Steve’s Leaves is the Conservation Grade accredited brand of Vitacress Limited. Launched in March 2010 the Steve’s Leaves product range consists of exciting baby-leaf salads with names such as Super Hot Rocket, Shoots & Leaves, Nose-Tinglingly Peppery Baby Watercress, and Ruddy Gorgeous Mix of Wild Red Rocket & Milder Leaves.         

European Oat Millers have been supplying ingredients to major food companies for nearly thirty years. As well as being an individual CG licensee, they also manage the CG contracts for Jordans cereals. The CG accredited oats, wheat and barley grown for Jordans is processed at their Bedford mill.   

  

The Honeychop range of horsefeeds only use the highest quality natural ingredients, carefully selected and prepared under strict controls. For example, rather than wheat or barley straws, Honeychop use Conservation Grade oat straw as standard.  The result is a superior horse feed that is high in fibre, extremely palatable and above all, nutritious and safe – the natural choice for your horse or pony. 

Lordington Lavender produce a range of luxury goods, including essential oils and soaps, all from the Lavender grown on their own farm. The essential oil is produced from the French Provencal variety Mailette famed for its high quality oil, using only steam in the process.
